Probably most of you reading this know me already so you can completely skip this part! For others, you will notice that I use exclamation !!!! marks all the time. To some people, this is highly irritating. If you are one of those, you will probably want to pass on this blog. I get excited and enthusiastic about things and the only written way for me to express that is through the use of the mark. Anyway – on to other fascinating things about me – born in Ann Arbor, Michigan too many years ago to mention. Great childhood – went to Wheaton College where I had the best years and met the love of my life, Paul. After we married, we moved to Oregon and never really left. Paul now lives in heaven but that was the only place he would go other than Oregon. We had four wonderful children (had to say that but they really were and are) and now I am blessed with the three most amazing daughters-in-law! They are such a gift to their husbands and to me. And then there is Elliott – my grandson. To those grandparents out there, I do not need to say anything more and to those of you in waiting, you have incredible joy ahead! There is another gift on the way so I will update this when that little mite arrives. So I have been a wife, mom, English teacher and now am retired. I have the incredible privilege of traveling for World Vision primarily, to places around the world to serve. That has been the gift God has given me to keep me going without Paul.
